Stand progress went well this afternoon, better than expected with just the two of us. Still plenty to do tomorrow, but the consulation is that you can have a good walk around tomorrow evening before the public get access on the Friday.

ok bit off the wall but anyone going to the nec Saturday from Colchester? with a spare seat for the return journey? just bought a car to replace the celica while its off the road and its in Colchester, so thought I would try on here to see if a possible lift there is possible at end of the day,
would slip the driver a few quid for fuel if possible, if any one can help pm me and I will pass on my mobile number so we can chat about arrangements.

cheers in advance..[:D]

project dhc sold sadly, but project fhc taking over... Dave...

The TR Drivers stand was already getting attention owing to the innovative display. I think everyone is going to be impressed. The TR Register have their usual green FHC up on a little plinth which makes for a nice little display surrounded by traditional TRs too. We're on the next stand and you really get an impact when you get around the far side of the Register's partition. Think WEDGE!

I happen to know that a certain Mr Phil Daniels did put forward the idea of a certain modified red FHC TR7V8 for the TR Register display this year.
The "committee" decided to go for the standard option on this occasion.
Nevermind.
I am currently convalesing after some key hole surgery (behind nose) on my pituatury gland, so will not be there this weekend.
And the FHC is tucked up in the garage. [:)]
Cheers.

1979 TR7V8 FHC.
DJE 4.6 Block and Heads.
25 years of tinkering and tuning......So far!
Now available in red.
Featured on John Clancy's superb new DVD.

The stand theme is all about the launch Rob to coincide with the anniversary events this year. It depicts a little of the Chicago Motor Show back when the cars were new.
The convertibles have had there day before and will definitely have there time again.

It turns out that we (triumph club eastern) don't have a stand! Would be good to meet some fellow TR7 owners but don't know what you look like [:I]
