August Thoroughbred & Classic

I read the comparison of the TR5PI & Austin-Healey 3000 while standing in the bookshop today. The Healey was all about the reputation but the TR5 won on its driving merits. That sums it up for me because you could make the same argument comparing the TR5 & the TR7. You'd take the 5 to the car show but use the 7 if you wanted to spend more than a few hours racing round the country just for the sake of it.

I wouldn't kick a TR5 out of my garage though. Or a Healey.

Never say die. At least not while you're still breathing.
