Got the 7 mot'd, passed straight through. It is a testament to the work done on her by Kevin Morton.

The forecast is for sunshine so bring it on.

Hi Gaz, sorry, but it looks as if we can't make it.
Nothing personal, but Mrs P cannot sit in a car for long periods. She should have had an operation on her leg before I went to Mongolia. Be sure to let me have a full report for the October TR-Driver, I've saved space!

Perhaps a Smart Roadster would have been a touch out-of-place anyway!

I went on the road run today too see if there were any roadworks etc. there are some at the moment although should be clear by Saturday.....
the weather was bright and sunny today roof down all day just hope its the same at the weekend
it will take about 2-2 1/2 hours there and about 2 hours on the way back we will have a dinner stop at the motor museum where we have got a reduced entry rate of £6.25 instead of the usual £7.80ish we will be there for about 3 hours which should be enough time to look around the museum and grab some lunch, and If we have enough time we will stop off at Bonds Ice cream which should take us to 5.30pm arriving at the starting point for teatime for the headshave and the run of the Illuminations.........

some pic.s from today......

Its now 1:33am Simon (triton 7) and myself are enjoying a celebratory drink, we have too say a great big THANKYOU for all who made today possible there hasn't been an official count up yet although early reports are indicating in the region of about £400ish for this great charity.
This has been a fantastic run/day and has proved to be an excellent climax to the driving season.

There were people here today from St Helens, Lincoln, Northants, and surrounding areas of Lancashire who all seem to want this to happen next year.

lets make it happen..... Bigger, Better, Brighter

We had a fantastic time during the day on Saturday, and would like to thank everyone for making us feel welcome and to everyone involved in organising the day.

I was dissapointed that so few 7s showed up to support Gaz and the charity - but hopefully we can repeat this next year and get a few more people interested. I can honestly say that it was well worth our 150 mile each way journey to take part!!!

Our photo haul isn't great as most are blurry and shakey - I'm not sure if thats the speed we were moving, Sarah's nerves at my driving or our 'Rusty Wedge' breaking itself apart...

A great day out enjoying the wedge, and raising loads of cash for a worthwhile cause at the same time - what could be better?

Roll on next year - as Gaz says "Bigger, Better, Brighter!"

Glad it all went well - who's going to send a report [and pics] into the next issue of TR-D? Space awaiting, and the copy deadline is the 15th...

What a stunning day and a sparkling night.

We raised £440 plus.

Garry has a new haircut and we all have memories of a wonderful time.

We are planing to do this again next year as the last run of the year before your 6 months tax runs out.

Keep a watch out for the article in the TR Driver mag.

Let's make next year, bigger, brighter, better.

Let's make it happen

Yes, its was a really enjoyable day and the weather gods smiled on us as well. Lovely sunshine for the trip from the Lakeland Motor Museum and clear skies for the trip along the illuminations.

Well done to Gaz for organising it all and raising all that money.
Looking forward to next year.

Some pictures;

Ready for the off.
