Zoe, my car will never be a show winner, but who like you i think who cares aslong as we are happy with our cars thats all that matters and no one on here judges each others cars in that context, its a great forum dont you think Zoe

Better for the car to be on the road than end up in a garage for 10 years as an incomplete restoration. No offence to members with resto projects that have exceeded 10 years. [:)]

actually took the passenger seat out to check how bad it was underneath, and it wasnt that bad apart from the pool of water from the slashed hood, and stuck on the bottom of the seat was the original gallow and maddox sticker from april 1981, finding bits like that is what i love about old cars.....

soon as i have my mot i will get the thing rolling, and then start on the restoration... will replace doors and bonnet as they're shot, and can restore and spray them off the car, boot looks save able. so may start from the back and work forwards,,,,, panel at a time, rattle can respray, to all the one colour then once whole car sorted and nothing else dropping off it will look into a tidy respray for it.... its a right pie ball at the moment so while the can idea not ideal it will return the car to one colour again...
