Hello all-

I have been out of contact for a while.

As mentioned in the write-up, if the material is washed, it will get even closer in dimension, but it loses some of it's "smoothness" and is not quite as nice to the touch. I did wash mine. I have not yet put the new covers on my seats. I still have several meters (probably about 6 or 7 - I would have to unroll it to know exactly) if anyone is interested.

I did some work on the green/black tartan. I even purchased a door panel from Rimmer Bros to match. The first thread samples that I received did not match the green color very well. The weaver suggested that I send him a panel to match. I decided that the market was not really large enough to justify the expense.

If there are 10-12 people who will express a strong interest in the Green/Black, then I can proceed with trying to match the green fabric. Otherwise, I have to tie up my money for too long to make it worthwhile. The price would be about $85-$90 per meter which is enough to cover two seats. If fewer people are interested, I can still work on it, but the price will have to go up.

Hello ....jtmco

iI am very interested in how it looks with the shade of green .. it has to fit to the door panel .. I have new (you measure this with the Spektralfotometer ?)

So please take me to the list, and I mean the authentic (serious)

I'm still not entirely clear with the seats (a little more lateral support would be nice) but maybe I can TR7 seats modify something (I love the original look)

only one is quite sure they are green checkered

Hello from Switzerland

Frank-

I have not used a spectrophotometer. I am limited by the colors that the weaver has available so we have matched it by eye. If I do it, I will send a new door panel to the weaver and ask him to match it. I would confirm it before ordering. I'm sure it would be very close or I would not do it.

I will see how much interest there is. I had more incentive to do the red since I needed red myself.

Jim
