hahaha it wasn't really the gas tank either...
...shocks are on order, figured it would be easier to get them out before the tank was in, so the tank came back out from under the car. Removed the shocks, then put the tank in, Tank took maybe 30-45 minutes really. Found it was much easier to just use an air gun.
Then it was trying to decide how to get the filler neck in. But then it was deciding on how to clean the filler neck...by the end of the day the filler next was wire brushed by hand, wire brushed on motorized wire wheel, sand blasted, coated with tank sealer, uncoated with tank sealer. painted....and inbetween that it was trying to decide wtf to do with a cut off switch in the trunk. lol Just couldn't come up with any ideas that safely prevented anything from bridging the terminal gaps while holding the switch securely while leaving accessibility to the wire connects on the back of the switch.
