Reminds me of the JPS F1 cars, well the paint scheme anyway! gorgeous motor hoops, still can't believe how old these cars are. They've aged well.

Been doing a little tidying up, fixed a few oil leaks, and then one of the carb feed tubes decided to split, so got that done. Fitted new plugs and this all solved the spluttering when you gave it 3/4 throttle while driving. Still got a slight misfire but pretty confident that this will be solved by some new HT Leads [:)]

Oh and got the back end out in the rain, much more manageable than the dolly sprint [}:)]

Got a few more things done, new Dizzy Cap, Rotor Arm, Plugs and Leads and Condenser. The new Condenser seemed to stop the spluttering above 4k rpm but yesterday seemed to come back so will check over all the leads etc. The timing needs looking at as well.
It had a polish and went out on the south downs earlier in the week -

I had a black convertible from 1985 to 1990 when Knightrider was first on. I used to get kids commenting all the time.. the look is more pronounced if your at kiddy height.. it actually got pretty annoying!

Dunno exactly when it was on..didn't watch much telly in those days.. worked 5pm-2am for 7 months a year and spent the other 5 months of winter on a desert island!

Only know I owned that car from '85 til '90. Sold a white dhc to get it and then stupidly sold it 5 years later to buy WAC in 1990.
