PM me with your private email. I have a PDF copy of the homologation papers, not best quality but readable.

TR Tony-You have Homologation Papers for the TR7V8 or the TR8? I dont know if I ever sent you a set when I did some emailing but I have them for the TR8. If you have them for the TR7V8 I would love to swap. I have the TR8 ones scanned already.

Think I'm right in saying that the TR7V8 was homolgated 1st April 78 as TR8. Previously TR7 16v.

I'll have a look at my copy when I get home from work. I think it's refers to the TR8, not the TR7V8, but it's a while since I read it!

Will report back on what I have.

OK, I have looked at my copy & it is for the TR8. The original date for homologation on the papers appears to be 1st April 1978, but there are pages of amendments to the original spec, the earliest of which is dated 1st April 1978, & the last is dated 1st May 1985 ([?])

Something I have just noticed also of interest is that one of the photos in the FIA papers, of the interior of the car, is the same shot as was recently supplied to me by the BMIHT Photo Library, in their records the shot is of a LHD TR7V8 interior. It is not a rally spec interior, just looks like a standard interior with the check cloth trim. The BMIHT also have the rear 3/4 shot that appears on the FIA papers. I have asked them if they have the front 3/4 shot.

In the 1978 set of papers the roof spoiler picture was of a prototype TR8 coupe at the Group 44 shop in Herndon, Virginia and you can barley make out the Group 44 Jaguar XJS TransAm car in the back ground.
