7's at Stoneleigh today

Postby RUDDY » 07 Mar 2010 17:58

Had a swift walk round this morning to keep warm, bought a few odds and ends for the project, still looking for the elusive TR8 airbox/carb plates , anyway before I headed home I did a swift lap of the carpark with the iphone and took a few snaps of all the 7's I could find, sorry for the quality, my wife thinks Triton is the nicest colour available, I pointed out we had one in that colour years ago ...............[B)][B)]

Cheers, Paul

Looks like great weather for early show....sun shining. Don't see Triton green over hear except for Ron's son's coupe (and it was originaly blue or some such). When it comes time for respray Yellow TCT might go to the dark side and embrace Triton Green (it's a toss up.) Don't see any bonnets up as you do over here especially on a participent and general public judged events as you don't stand a chance otherwise.

def warmer outside, and a fantastic display of tr7s, til you went inside anyway.......

zoe good to see you there, and john, and zoe thankyou for the doors, they will come out the boot tomorrow, too cold and dark now.....

and can you believe a place that big has no card facilities...... cashpoints frozen up when i left for the show, called in what must of been the only garage on the run up without a cashpoint and decided to get cash out when there..... no chance, told nothing of the sort on site, had to drive up to coventry to get money out....

we are in the 21st century now after all and the number of major shows this place puts on you would think they would of embraced chip and pin by now.....[:p]

And I chose Triton because it used to be a rare colour [B)]

A respray is being considered [:D]

Agree [;)]

At least 't Kreng still has a unique colour for a TR7.
Will be even more unique in a few years time when she gets a respray [8D]

It so good to see so many Tritons.

Last year I froze in the sheds so gave it a miss this year, but wish I had gone now.
