Hazard Warning Switch

Hi all, newbie on here but had my TR7 for 18 years and the hazard warning switch has become so corroded it wont work and MOT now not possible. HELP[:(]

Does anyone have one for sale or know of a second hand/new one. No joy with Rimmers.

take it out, disassemble it , clean the contacts and put it back together. it should work if the plastic bits aren't broken.

Sue, try S&S or Robsport, both have a good selection of new used spares, I am sure one of them can help!

In the unlikely event they cannot help then there are two for sale currently on Ebay Motors (USA) - item numbers 150414654466 or 250536133516. I don't think there are any differences between the US & UK spec hazard switches.

Thanks so much for all your help guys, have managed to source one from S and S preparations, Rick was really helpful, should get through the MOT now and back on the road for spring! [:)]

Beans... that looked like my main switch but you left some corrosion on the case...I can't believe you did that.[:D]

You don't have to buy a new switch, you can clean the old one for free using some Brasso or the like. But take pictures as you take it apart as it goes back several ways. I didn't and had to spend some time figurig out which contacts where N/O and which where N/C from the wiring diagram.
