I locked myself out of my convertable and just pulled the roof popers off and put my hand in.[:I] So much for security [}:)].It has always made me think though why no one realy touches a convertable car left parked with the roof down yet a 'solid' car left unlocked would be asking to get it stolen[?]

That's part of the reason I don't bother with the locks, I'd be real pissed if they knifed the roof.........

I don't leave anything of value in the car, and also never lock the glove box either.

Ron.

Locks only keep out honest people!
As for why crooks having a preference for enclosed cars over open ones is probably down to the fact that they're more exposed in an open car, everyone looks at an open car and can see what they're up to.
Also the fact the if you were going to be away from the car for long you'd put the roof up so they think you might catch them in the act, you might even be watching!

Couldn't quite make out the shape of the fins to determine.... Sad or what eh?

I've had quite a selection of S1s, H1s and KHs in my youth, and still have my hybrid 500 (somewhere!). Never actually owned a S3 or KH400. Still fancy one though......! Daren't mention that to our lass.[;)]
