I nearly bought my son the Brera pedal car - that was under £100 and too much by my reckoning.... I took the additional tax rather than the toy!

Over £2000 for a kids car - I'm on the side of "that's £2k less to spend on a proper car"

Oh and on seeing "Daddy's car at a market recently (a TR7 'dinky' toy) my son after initially wanting it opted for 'Harold the Helicopter' from Thomas The Tank, I tried persuading him that the metal toy was best, but apparently modern plastic rules in the world of a 2yr old, and the TR7 was left on the stall.
