Body Removal

Has anyone in this forum removed body,fenders etc from a TR7?. I've looked for bolts but it appears that the body is welded instead of bolted. (or is could be bad eyesight). If anyone has done this process could you email me or answer this post. Cheers

Yep, I'm afraid it's all (spot) welded on.

What parts are you looking to remove?

If you download TR7_man.pdf from Jclays' site:

There's a section there which will tell you exactly where all the spot welds are.

The 7 does not have a separate chassis, like earlier TRs, you can't
remove the body as such.

Also, download "TR7_Welding.pdf" as it has the locations of all the spot welds.
