Anybody going to be at the Portland All British Field Meet over Labor Day weekend?

I'll be there, with or without the car. PIR is only 10 miles from my house.

I'll be there although I haven't registered yet. I'm going to camp at the grounds so hope the weather is good.

I'm going to camp too, even though I could just go home each night. A couple friends have been asking me to come camp with them for the last 10 years. They are Spitfire and GT6 owners but I don't hold that against them. If the weather is like today I'll be happy. 85 degrees Farenheit, sunny with a gentle breeze.

Cool. I'm probably not going to camp, but I expect to be there all day Saturday & Sunday, with my car. (It lives in the Portland area.)

I was thinking about going. In my Elise.

The TR7 selection was pretty slim at the W. Washington ABFM.

OK I'm registered. Not many TR7's but a few TR8's have registered so far. Planning on going down with Ron (Orange Rag) and his son's triton green FHC. Planning on visiting Spruce Goose at Evergreen
Air Museum as well.

As of Friday it looks like there are 480 entries. 12 wedges, 9 TR8s and 3 TR7s. I just registered my car so it wasn't on the list, I'll make 13, if I actually get the car there. It'll be close, and it'll be ugly.

Wooo Hoo!! Finally got the duplicate title from the yahoos in Oregon. Applied for transfer to Washington and registered the thing. Called my insurance agent and now it is legal. The weather forcast for next weekend looks a bit iffy yet. From kinda decent to a bit nasty depending on which forcaster you believe. I still have no top, so it'd be nice if it were dry at least. I've taken a few short drives today and it seems to run okay. The speedo doesn't work, the turn signals blink slow, and the rear suspension is a bit bouncy, although that could be from the tires sitting flat for 10 years. I'm going to try to get the exhaust system looked at and some new tips installed but the tires will have to wait until later. I'll just take it slow to the ABFM. Only have to be on the freeway to get over the bridge to Oregon and it is only about 10 miles total. I think we can do it! Then I can concentrate on getting the cosmetics taken care of over the winter. I am just jazzed about being able to finally drive it. I even talked the wife into riding in it to go out to breakfast this morning.[:D]

Yah, they're calling for a few showers Friday and Saturday with sunny after for Sunday and Monday. Don't know were they get that from as the Pacific ocean is clear. Probably some d*mn butterfly flapping it's wings in India.

Talked to Ron yesterday and he thinks he might get his transmission in to take his V-6 TR7 along with his son's green coupe. Good luck with that but then he's pretty fast getting his engine in and out.

I'm over in central Oregon, about 3hours. I'm a little apprehensive about taking my 7 that far. I've never had it more than hour away from home. It's running pretty good now but there isn't much between me and Portland if I run into a snag.

I drove mine home from California (a thousand miles) after it had been laid up for seven years, when I bought it on eBay. Be adventuresome. Take the plunge. Throw caution to the wind. Do you want to liver forever? Today is a good day to die.....I think I'll quit now.

They can't predict the weather for tomorrow, let alone for the weekend! I'm pleased there is going to be a good bunch of Wedgeheads in attendance. I fly in from Anchorage and get my car out of storage on Friday. Assuming it runs as well as it did in May, I'll plan to be at the ABFM all day Saturday & Sunday. Anyone for a Wedge tour?
