'80 Spider graphics

Postby GSCReno » 03 Aug 2009 20:17

Does anyone know where I can lay hands on a couple of the red reflective graphics kits for my Spiders? I seem to recall VB listing them years ago. Rimmer Bros. lists all of the decals seperatly save for the "Spider" for the right side of the trunk lid and the lower front of the quarter panels. I'm afraid that 30 years of desert sun and heat have done mine in and I'd really like to replace them soon. Cheers, Scott

Hello there, Scott!
So nice to have another Spidey among us! Welcome to the forum!!![:D]

I purchased my 3M reflective decals from a gentleman out of Detroit. His name is Richard Truett and his email is rover827@aol.com The website that gives a little write up about the decals is fireflystudios.com/SpiderDecals I probably should seriously consider purchasing a spare set--just in case!--Monica

Awesome! Thanks, guys. I've been kinda lurking in the shadows on these forums and really enjoy them. Now that I've jumped in, I've got lots of questions. That said, I'll try not to be a pest. Cheers, Scott

The decals on my Spider are fading away, too, although not due to any sun this summer in Maine :).

Good to know that someone has reproduced them!

Fortunately I got a set off eBay from him (tr7spider.com) when he was flogging extra sets he had made a while back for cheaper. Early bird and all that....[8D]. They are waiting the time of the paint job.

OK, before you all start asking, here is the link to the red reflective tape. They don't make the double set like 3M, so you will have to do each line separately.
