Hi,
On five speed cars they are M10x 1.5 not sure of lenght (approx 30mm and have a non threaded shoulder) as have always replaced with the correct bolts as didnt want to run the risk of putting soft as 5h1t3 bolts in there [xx(] (have a hardness value of i think 8-9)
Four speed i am fairly sure are 3/8" UNF
Hope this helps
Cheers John.

10.9 bolts should do the job.

just remember that the cars are mass produced , and whole lot of crap parts are installed. the first time i saw a 5.8 bolt was on my tr7 , and you cant get anything lower than 8.8 in your local hardware store...

8.8 should be more than adequate.

Here they sell 4.6 bolts if you want 8.8 or higher you have to go to a bolt merchant or an industrial supply house.</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="size2">

probably because of a very small market, total population of the country is 4mil , capital has 0.9-1mil , compared to many european country's that is a population of a single city.
