What a waste... Someone must be able to save it somehow. Maybe use it as a track day car?

Now it works.
Why is it not possible to make this car roadworthy?

I knew this would happen-the thin edge of the wedge(pun intended)
introduce a scrappage scheme and sooner or later you were gonna'see
this,a crying shame!Only gonna'see this happen to more of the 'minor'
classics as time wears on....

See ya',Paul.

Paul i couldnt agree more, this sort of thing is gonna happen more and more sadly, i went to the local scrappy the other day to get a few spares for my Rover, once a time the place had hundreds of cars now only a handful that in itself says it all, crying crying shame.

what makes it worse is under the scrapage scheme the cars must have a valid mot so could be a decent buy i have a spare log book as im sure lots of us have, like our donor cars that could be resurected[;)] better that than scrapped i say

if you factor in the earth's rotation, we are all speeding

Whoever owned it never deserved it in the first place.

I've heard from many sources that better deals can be done other than the scrappage route.

I'm not so sure Micheal.......look at the car closely [;)]

Like most here, it breaks my heart to see this kind of thing happen, from a distance the car looks clean, but even with the crappy ebay pics you can still spot the rusted shock towers, and corrosion along the bottom of the doors...just imagine what you can't see!!!

It would be real fun to have a UK specification RHD TR7 here in the States!

Hi,
Such a shame [:(]
We have taken several cars in at work, one stuck out, A E36 328 Coupe, one owner from new, a huge file full of recpeits for everything spent on the car, just over 60k miles a real gem, had to been worth more than £2k if sold privalety, plus she could have haggled a deal to get more of the new £40K car she was buying. Offered to swap my old Cavalier for it so an old car is scrapped but no way!
Cheers John

These have got to be the options;

(1) Exported
(2) Track day/race toy
(3) Re-shell/donor car

All unfortunately, not without considerable expense, and a lot of hassle; which means we are going to lose more and more...
