I'm back!

Postby alanjarvis » 22 Apr 2009 18:44

Not been on this forum for ages so I thought I would let you know my Burgudy red TR7 is still going strong. I had it for 3 years now and I do a 60 mile round trip 2-3 times a week in it and it has never let me down. Annual prilgrimage to Robsport this July for the MOT will require some attention to the front suspension turrets as they are developing their own little ventilation holes. New year some joker jumped on the roof and bent the frame. I have bent it back mostly but the last few inches is tricky (any suggestions?). Very cold winter weather has also split the clear plastic back and side windows so it will need a new roof soon. I have not seen another TR7 for ages, my one causes a lot of amusement and comment at work where it is known as 'Alans lovely car'. Also get a lot a jealousy from a woman who has a Mercedes SLK 350 rocket powered electric everything car but mine gets more comments!

Keep going!
Alan
