I had never even heard of a Triumph Italia before, but I really like the looks of this.

I assume it is worth a LOT, but it's still fun to dream. Anyhone know what something this rare is worth?

Crikey they want some dosh! for those cars, personally i think the shape of the TR4 thus the italia version is one of the pretiest

Certainly one of the prettiest TR's ever, shame it used the TR3A chassis and not the TR4 irs.

There's only about 300 of them. They took years to sell due to them being too expensive but it is now possible to order a new one from Revington TR who will build it off the original plans in aluminium. The place that does the shells in just up the road from me in Liskeard and very talented he is too having learnt his trade at Aston Martin.

Not officially a Standard product they were sold with the understanding that body parts were not available (in the event of a crash.) Not any different than any other low volume car I guess. Definitely one nice looking Triumph. A club member locally here in Victoria donated his Italia to a car museum in UK. He said when he had it outside the museum (can't remember which) there were more people in the parking lot looking at it than were inside.

We've got three Italia in Sweden.
One is owned by a friend who also have a Dové GTR4 and a TR3. I'm trying to persuade him to buy himself a TR8 as well
- so he's got one of each of the rare ones... [:D]
