Looks good!

I should think the green check seats are replacements - if the car was originally red then it would probably have had the later tan check seats & trim.

What colour are the door cards, carpet etc?

The rest of the interior is black.no plaid in the door cards.I think that either my interior was so worn out it was replaced by my lucky dip of parts or was better than my lucky bag so swapped over with another tr before my car was sold[:(].I have pulled most of the carpet up to check for rust so looking a bit sad inside at the moment[:I].I would love a new interior but at £800+ I will be sitting in my green for a bit.I think the original colour of the car was champage gold as the underside of the nose is this colour.I will have to deciper the chassis plate to know anything for sure. For now the focus is on getting my fuel gauge to work and sorting my oil pressure and water loss woes[xx(]

If it was gold then the code will be GCC for Midas Gold or GCF for Pharaoh Gold.

If you have a black interior except for the seats, then maybe keep a look out for an early pair of seats in black cord? At least it would kind of match up without going to the expense of changing it all!

Love the 70's and 80's a great time to be alive (my daughters want me to take them on one of them 80's theme weekends a Butlins so they can see for themselves [8D] ), another tech at work has a 81 Yamaha XT 500, last Saturday we went on a '80's' drive around town in the sun [:D]
