Hi,
There was a few 7's and 8's there last year, love the way its so informal and you can see a Austin Maxi parked next to a Lambo!! Did'nt take a picnic relied on 'The Carpenters Arms' pub for liqued refreshment [;)] . Save me a cucumber sandwich this year [;)] and i bring a pint or 3 over!! Some of the picnics were unreal!! full lenght diner tables and silver service!!
Another local show booked into as well is-

Hi john, i love the way that sounds, i like events like that, no heirs and graces sort of speak, a mate of mine had a hard top TR7 a few years back and he took it o one show and on this particular day, the whole TR line up was there fro the 2 - 6 for a phot, my friend parkd his next to the 6 and the guy who was taking the pic was told not to take the pic until the 7 was moved on, how pathetic i thought so def informal days gets my vote!

Hi Zoe,

Would you have been following a dark blue 7V8 DHC into Harpenden last year? I had my son with me and we were followed by a smart dark Jensen Interceptor or FF in the crawl to the green.

Todays the day.[:p]my old man says he will bring a can of fuel to the garage when he takes me to get 'the bitch' and we will see if the gauge now works.[?] I have had the light circuit rewired,(they refused to pop or light )a new fuse box that takes blade fuses,(found out about the small fuse thing and my box was butcherd for add on stuff anyway)a new alternater and bracket, dash rewire(told there was a small fire in it's past?)replacement fuel gauge,New tank sender, new oil pressure switch, tidy and replace/remove odd dead end wiring(don't want any more small fires),re install the radio as it came on and off at will and a general electrical health check.total time three weeks .labour 8 hrs at £200 parts £150 VAT £52.50 I was told he was working vat free!.Also on the bill it says 'fuel information system ok....car needs filling up'[:0] I am giving this guy my weeks wages no need for sarcasum[:(!].Still all this annoyance will fade away on my drive home. Then I can fit the new gear knob(have an awful go faster carbon fibre thing at the mo' pm me if anyone wants it free) and fit my replacement steering wheel as mine is split. Both parts found through this forum thank's all[:X] I will be at the shows myself soon.btw anyone seen the Jezza clarkson porta loo clip?
