If it was me Underdog, I would bleed the system again. The 7 brake system is a pain to bleed often takes several attempts to clear the system.

Wayne, I'll give that a try. The right side is showing a lot more dust on the rim so something isn't right The squeeling is realy bad coming to a stop. Never did that with the standard pads. Tried the goop on the back of the pads but still there. Bummer when you have all this stuff new and it still isn't right.[:(]

Underdog, First of all, I'd check that the disc is running true in
the calliper. If it is running at a slight angle, the calliper will
be trying to pull itself square to the disc, & probably chattering.

If that's OK, I'd dig up a dial gauge, & check the run out in the
disc. We used to reckon that more than 4 thou was too much for use
with high performance pads, in the old days. That may be a bit
different today. We also reckoned more than 12 thou was too much
even for a stock road car.

I presume there is no pulsing in the brake pedal, when you are using
them.

If all else fails, ask the manufacturer, they are usually very
helpful.

Hi Underdog,

Greenstuff pads are renowned for making strange noises as they bed in, and they take longer to do it. Maybe one side is bedding in slower than the others, hence the pulling. Bleeding sounds like a good idea to make sure.

My Greenstuff came with 4 large sticky back plastic patches to place on the back of the pads. They looked like 4 burst balloons when I took the pads off.

Although the vented disc surfaces all look even, one of the Greenstuff pads looks different to the rest so maybe that was the cause of my vibration. The std pads are on and work fine.
