Chroming in NZ has become a bl[:(!][:(!]dy pain. Because of the toxic chemicals involved the compliance costs have soared so high that many shops just won't do it anymore. One bloke who still does it has taken to 'losing' your bits so he can flog them off to bolster his rapidly dwindling income. Incredible to think that such a thing could happen in paradise.
