Real TR-8's in the US had their batteries moved to the rear to help with balance.

Spoke to the guy selling this today, made a few increasing offers towards his asking price but he seemed quite .............shall we say abrupt, comments such as "doesn't sound like you want to pay me what I want" and "your no where near" when I actually was if he had considered that if he sold it outside of Ebay he would have saved himself almost £200 selling fee's. Wasn't at all forthcoming with info about the car, running gear, suspension etc.

I did plan to swap everything V8 over into mine and offer the rest on here at sensible prices , ie low .

I'll give it a while and see if its still there in a couple of weeks.
cheers, Paul

Hi Paul, you should have asked for the 'unlucky' chaps details and spoke directly to him maybe. The bloke selling it probably doesn't know much about these cars. (hasn't lived!!!!)

So if you did get it, you wouldn't be tempted to use a bit of filler (well a lot!) and give it a respray? The car itself looks really good, no rust rot etc.

Dave
