Woody @ The Wedge Shop has strut braces that are welded connections with the exception of the strut tops and hood/bonnet latch areas. How they work with stock carbs or the 4 cylinder I don't know?

I do not like the aftermarket adjustable ones

i would like a chrome one in a one piece tube

OR would i have to get one made up? </b> </font id="maroon">

If you look really close at Beans set-up you will notice a corrugated hose that runs from the radiator area all the way back to the firewall. It goes into a cover over the fresh air intake for the vent. That way he still gets fresh air and has a strut brace.

The other day there was a photo of a ralley car with a hose and fan set-up that had a metal duck to the heater inlet.

A metal duck? Must be full of lead. [:D]

The fresh air vent cowling & a strut brace might be mutually exclusive if you have one that attaches to the firewall but not with one that just goes from tower to tower. Running a hose from the front of the car probably makes the air flow more effective though.

The Whiteline brace would probably fit mine if it was turned the other way.
