The single hump bonnet is supposed to be less rust prone.....
There are some new old stock double hump bonnets around but they're single hump items with an extra pressing.
Unfortunately the frame prevents the hump from being placed 100%correctly and it sits further back. I'd heard that these are the ones that TD Fitchet sells as double hump bonnets.
On my DHC the bonnet needs relacing or repairing. My Holley would fit fine under a single hump but that's one bit of originality I wouldn't want to change.
