Looks to need a total restore or a great parts car.

One of the more understated offerings on the net.

"this car is great comes with a full service history" Right up to the moment it was parked up back in.......

"anything thats been done is recorded" Anything that needs to be done is left to your imagination.

"just needs a respray" I don't want to frighten off the bidders

"not many left" Don't ask for an engine bay photo

A bit more information would probably get a more positive response but i'm being harsh. It's obviously not in pristine condition from the limited photos.

Ruddy,

Makes you wonder what the engine bay and underneath is like but what always get me is when people put TR7 on ebay. They most end up saying its DHC and not a FHC. This could end with the selling face and no sale / negative feedback.

Blimey, makes you wonder why they would put a reserve on it, prob worried it might only go for the asking price else!

The best thing about this car is the inflatable tiger in the passenger's seat!

Ruddy,

Just back to a Ebay item been a DHC but really a FHC, I have spotted this one, but to fair not saying anything about restoration.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1982-TRIUMPH-TR7- ... 240%3A1318

Also no engine bay picture most likely full of weeds / maybe a engine.

The Black FHC has a Y reg and a late Solihull badge - but a single bulge bonnet covering unkown ??? The trouble with most cars like that is the parts you need are also the ones that the potential donor needs!
