Back home now,the v8 in glorious form blasting down the M6/M11.
What a great show it was,and fantastic to meet so many wedgemaniacs!
A big THANK YOU to Phil for all his hard work,and to Kev,Val,Jim.
Also thanks to Chris T for encouraging me to show my car.And what cars
we had on our stand outshone all the other TR stands alltogether!
I think we may have gained the TRDC a few new members over the show
days too.
Great to have caught up with the 'usual suspects',and some new faces.
Roll on Stoneleigh next March!
Stevie,it's been great to see you again,got any more shots of our

Thanks to everyone who made the club stand such a great success, the cars were superb, the owners put in so much effort and the members(club and forum) made it the busiest Triumph stand all weekend.

Hi All
What a great show this year great to meet so many members it is good to be able to put faces now to names.
We thought the club stand definitly out shone any of the other Triumph stands not only for the quality and presentation of the cars but also the friendly and helpfull nature of everybody on the stand.
We were looking at the cars on rootes group stand and a couple of guys were discussing the TRDC stand and said it was the friendliest stand they had come across,praise indeed.
Our thanks ro everybody involved in organising the stand and also the brave souls exhibiting the cars.[:)][8D]

Hi All,

Had a great weekend at the NEC. Got the sore feet to prove it. As always good to see all the usual faces again!
I was flitting in between all the stands as much as I could, mine was on the Yoof display with the TR Register and I was there representing and recruiting.
But, Club Triumph had a great showing as well and of course the TR Drivers stand was ace.

If anyone has any pictures, please please pop them up as I forgot to take any,[:(] distracted by all the car porn on show! [:D]

I can see that you lot, in thr UK have had a great weekend, BUT
as a poor colonial, who has only once ever seen 5 TR7/8s in one
place, this thread is inflecting great pain on me.

It's just not fair, but it must have been really something.

and yes I did give my daughter her birtday money back!
I also happen to be responsible for organising the NEC and Stoneliegh shows for the TR Drivers Club.

Many thanks to all the owners and contributors, making this show our best yet - I'm already planning next years NEC line up....

Sorry Wayne I didn't get chance to get back to the stand. Family forced me away, then Wheeler Dealers..just not enough time in the day. But I have seen your Grinnall and it's beautiful & thanks for the chat. I might look to putting my Premium in the show next year so I have the whole weekend to liaise.

Hi,
Excellent show, spent all day there from when the doors opened till 5.30. Every time i walked round saw a new car i did'nt see the time before, to me the most intresting cars (Other than 'our' naturaly) are the every day cars you just see anymore, spent time chatting to the guys on the SD1,P6,P5 stands, Austin Allegro and Maestro stands, showing my heritage here!! also loved the 6R4 Metro, had the pleasure of a ride in one of them years ago and AWESOME is not a big enough word for the way those things go [:D]
Great to see Paul, Stevie (true gent for delivering 'the package'),Tony and all the others on the stand. Saw you Wayne but you chatting to someone so didnt disturb, TRDC stand was by far the best Triumph stand and what i saw the buisest.
Phil although my car is not good enough to go on the display, would be more than willing to help out, you guys did a simply brillant and profesional job yet kept it really friendly, a credit to all members.
Only downside no Guiness to drink [:(][:(!] in the whole place!!!

Great job on the TRDC stand Phil and to all involved, I was certainly guilty of flitting between the two most of the weekend - usually to wind Guy up about my red dash panel [:D] whilst I was n't manning the Yoof stuff for the TR Register.

I had a very enjoyable afternoon & it was good to catch up with everyone on the stand. The stand itself was great and it was good to see some new cars on display - a great selection but Rob Andrews track day car was stunning.

I will add my congrats to Phil & all who were involved in making it happen. And many thanks Phil for your advice about my troublesome SU carb!

hi,
my first time at the show
this saturday
enjoyed seeing all those tr7s together!!!!!!
loved all the triumph stands
particularly the dolomite one
some great rover p6s as well
even the allegro stand with its police car from ashes to ashes
was pretty interesting!!!!!
that wide arched red grinnall looked agressively cool!!!
worst thing was getting lost trying to find my car in the car park!!!!!!!!!
