When i said standard, i meant the bodywork really.
I don't think the engine is very good, it has been sat for 20 years.
So the plan is my mechanicals underneath including the wheels.
Will be just nice to see it on the road again after 20 years.

1979 TR7V8 FHC 3.9 Litre.
280bhp and 13.31 secs standing quarter.
19 years of tinkering and tuning......So far!

I'm with you, keep the bodywork standard as there's not much to improve on the basic looks of a 7, but make all the stuff underneath better...

Got to say it looks in great shape, although as a matter of personal taste I'd probably go with a colour change!
