Nothing for Christmas, I guess

Postby Debpazvin » 22 Oct 2008 00:25

All I ever wanted was a Boa Constrictor, a ferret & a TR7. Now my hubby has allowed me to have these (not bought them, just allowed me to get them & tolerated them)So I don't dare ask for anything for Christmas. He doesn't know how lucky he is. I don't spend money on clothes, bags, shoes, hair doos...I just want my car & my animals & I am sorted. But, if he gets me nothing for Christmas I'll send him a sympathy card for his birthday. It's all on record!

How about exchanging the ferret for a mongoose?

Deb, if that's all you ever wanted, [where does the son fit in
there], has it ever occurred to you, that it must be just about
impossible to pick a present for you?

I don't like snakes PERIOD! God bless the hubby. Me & you would have parted on that request![:0] Ferret would be OK. My GF is scared to death of spiders but not snakes. I always say that if it has fur or legs, it doesn't bother me. We have a couple of outdoor cats. The theory being they would keep away mice & such and snakes wouldn't be around either. Backfired! Dang cats have gone out and caught snakes (six of them this summer), depositing them on the doorstep!

Anyway Deb, We all have our choice of pets and our own phobias.
I'm sure you can use something for the TR that he could get you. TRs always want or need something.[:D]

When we had outdoor cats, they would do the sameexcept they would bring them inside and play with them until they got tired of them. The wife got good at picking them up by the tail and depositing back in the bush. (She even catches spiders in a bug trap releases them outside.)

Yes Hasbeen, my son, of course, (and yes I suppose my husband gave
him to me in a fashion) but he didn't have to go to the store, or spend too long, & and there was something in it for him too)[:)]. Rather sadly last Christmas he gave me a load of new things for my little Fiat which got stolen in August. Maybe I could get one of those red LED light thingies on the front of the 7 to make it look like KIT from Knight Rider?
