Great stuff Bill.

What is the North American Triumph Challenge, exactly.

In Oz we have an anual muster, in a different state, each year.
These are a mixture of social, display/concourse & driving
activities, over 5 days. Is this something like that.

Nice mixture of TRs, & Spits.

NATC is exactly like that, hasbeen! The North American Triumph Challenge is the Vintage Triumph Registry's annual gathering. Our club, The Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club hosted it this year. Next year it will be in California, hope to make it out there.

The black TR-8 is owned by a gentleman that works for GM at the Tech. Center in Warren, beautiful car!! ( Way better than my Aqua [:(!]) Many great upgrades (which I am trying to gather info on) and will pass on to all the faithful [:p]. I have many more pic's and will add them to this thread from time to time.

RATS! Missed it this year, since the TR8 let me down.

Next year's meet is too far for me, but will be watching for news of the one after that.

Unless the 8 drops the ball again!

I'm probably showing my ignorance here, but what is that green car?

Hi Hasbeen
It's either a Triumph Mayflower or Renown which was slightly more luxurious than the Mayflower, but I have never seen one like that with a hinged front on it, very unique and a lot of work, great paint job only ever seen these cars in black, maroon or grey before.

The green car is a Mayflower with a custom front and Chrysler Hemi engine. If I come across more info, I'll pass it along.

That is the most un-mayflower looking Mayflower I have ever seen.
[& I'm old enough to remember them on the roads of Oz].

I can't imagine why someone would pick a Mayflower to do that to,
but I certainly take my hat off to them for what they have done, &
by the looks of the picture, the way they have done it.

That would be a great meet to attend.

Hasbeen
