I would have agreed with you, but like I said, we looked at several TR7's in Revingtons yard and most were similarly "out of true" . The apparent offset is very small - probably only 1/2 inch or so, but it was enough for the o/s rear to rub on the arch with the suspension compressed. Given that most 7's have had some form of rear arch repairs in their life and the apparently poor fit of many repair panels, some or all of it may be down to that.
