Alternator removal on a 1980 tr7

I have removed the bolts on the upper bracket and lower mount but it still will not come off. Do I need to tap the spacer to loosen it?

As long as the two top bolts and the adjuster bolt are removed it should come off but can need a crow bar to lever it out of the top bracket if the endplates are tight.
