better hustle Rich [;)], this year here in Quebec (and apparently soon in OntaRIO) they closed off the JDM loophole, with a 180 day ban on the resale of rhd vehicles, basically sticking it to the importers who are now stuck with hundreds of no longer sell able vehicles for road usage.
-while the rhd ban is not quite 100% law yet, rumor has it that all non-previously registered vehicle will no-longer be allowed for street use as they won't pass provincial inspection.
You should however still able to import classics 25year + vehicles.....as the driver base is considered much more mature than most of the young inexperienced drivers in the JDM crowd who are really being basically singled out for apparent safety reasons.

Ron.

Gaz, That 4runner looks like the same as mine. But they put your steering wheel on the wrong side. Mine is a '94 5 speed with 120k miles. Unfortunately it is a bit anemic were I live at an altitude of 4k feet.

No turbo deisel's available for us in that model. We have the 3L V6. About 145 ponies with shift on the fly 4wheel drive. Great in the snow country with the high ground clearance.

Unfortunately the MGF didn't start production till 1995 so I have to be patient and cross my fingers.
They were manufactured in LHD for Europe, but the quantity made was low and as they are very popular in Europe the price for a LHD car is several times that of one of the more common RHD cars.
An alternative would be to buy a kit of LHD parst to convert a RHD car but that would be hard to find and very pricey.
