Yes - but I hope if someone does close on you - you then switch them off to avoid blinding ?? 99% of the population do not!

They should not be stupid enough to be that close in those conditions. You generally find that those that are that stupid come close behind and then overtake at a speed too high for the conditions (and I do not have a reputation for being slow) and end up in or causing a multiple pileup . Rear fog lights are only the same intensity as brake lights so are not very blinding if you are at the correct distance, just more noticable than rear lights.

I agree - but how often do you see a line of traffic - all with these wretched 'Fog Warning' lights ON !!
