Seat savers

Postby Last TR » 11 Mar 2009 03:02

The Roadster Factory and Victoria British both sell a cotton/poly "seat saver" to protect the fine leather seats in your Wedge, or in my case, cover the dog-chewed vinyl until I can afford leather. In the photos they look a little loose. Does anyone have any experience with the fit of these temporary seat covers? Thanks.

Yes, we have used these 'temporary' seat savers for the past twenty years. When the first set wore out after eighteen years, we ordered from the factory in California another set. The type we use are a denim like fabric. They install easily with no tools and at first are a little baggy in the area of the head rest. As time goes by, the fabric relaxes and settles to fit.

We like 'em. They pull off and are machine washable/tumble dry. The first set came mail-order from J.C. Whitney. Based on the service from the first set, the second set should oulive me. Not bad for a 'temporary'.

Thanks Mildred. Do you know if they are the same brand as the Roadster Factory and Victoria British sell?
