Good luck Entono. I've had the 8 at my painter for over 4 months.
The 2 pack was new just 6 years ago, & this was to blow a couple of
quick coats over the thing, to fix up some minor chips & scratches.

This bloke has become a friend, which doesn't help at all.

He painted my 7 & did a nice job, but it took 4 months.

He has supplied the first car for each of our 3 kids. He picks up
cosmetically dmaged cars, at auction, & replaces the damaged bits, &
sells them for about half the going price. His contacts let him know
when good low milage ones come in. Its saved us a lot of money, &
the cars have been great.

All this would be even better if he would just finish painting the
8. As it's going now, I will have forgotten how to put the lights,
bonnet, hood etc back on, when I finally get to do it.

Hasbeen: i contacted a couple of painters in the local area but some would not even show up, others asking such high prices that i can almost buy a new mercedes for.

And the ones that are affordable are not very reliable in results, so i'm a little lost here.

Wow Guys! I never expected this kind of response....Feels good knowing I'm not alone. My fiance is very supportive of me having fun on the car but she seems to want all my free time on the weekends.....Hence why there is no time to work on my baby.

Well,Since our Cincinnati Bengals are winless halfway through the season, I feel like my Sundays will have more time available to the car now that we won't be spending time watching them down at the local brewpub and getting humiliated.........Friggin' Bengals!!

Maybe being a Steelers fan would better suit your Sundays.

No way man! Yellow and Gold are our mortal enemies....I lived in Cleveland and Cinci and fell in love with cheap tickets and sloppy football.......Pittsburg? Never!!! LOL. Leon I WAS a Pats fan for about 20 years up until 7 years ago...Couldn't take all the bandwagon fans, Ticket price hikes, not a fan of Tom Brady (great qb), and the fact that all my favorite players are now long gone....and yes I think Bledsoe was a great qb when he had an O-line.

So now I root for the Ohio teams....Cheap tickets, working class fans, not as crowded at the stadium, incompetent ownership....and 0-16 record coming. Looks like the old Bengals are back! And since they don't play with passion for their fearless owner, we have decided to stop watching them on tv, not attend any games when we are back in the Natti, and not buy any merchandise until the owner gets his act together.....Which equals more TR7 time. WOW! It's amazing how I rationalized all this to work out.....

Aaaargh! Who has time for sports?

The wife, the dog, the step kids, the house, the roof, the motorcycles, the cars.....

I barely have enough time to work to pay for all of it and still get in an hour or so's sleep per night!!
