From the TRIUMPHTUNE Manual
UPRATED BUSHES
These are the most important item to be fitted to the rear suspension, to reduce the rear end steerage which is a major problem on this car. These bushes are specially manufactured for us, using the original tooling. The bushes are made in ‘70’ shore hard material thereby giving a firm control of the locating arms, upper and lower. The upper bushes can be replaced on their own if you don’t want to have any road noise back inside the Car. If the lower bushes are not changed for the harder version at Ieast replace the
front bush with the up-rated bush as this will at least cut down a lot of the excess movement.
As mine is a DHC for road use only, I think I'll be ok with the uprated upper bushes and genuine NOS lower bushes as pictured. It will be an upgrade of sorts on the lower arms as the front bushes will be the same as the rear (full, not voided) a good compromise, I think. [:)]
