Hi,

What a great day out with some great cars and there owners [8D]. We met a few miles outside out of Bromley and drove in convoy down to the park, always great looking in your rear view mirror to see a line of TR7 and 8's behind you.

Set up a display area and had great day, even the sunshined most of the Kent group for a great day out. A few more pictures -

Looks like a good day out John. Nice pix as usual - like that Savage Cortina [:)]

You were lucky with the weather - it has rained all day over here in Dorset so my car stayed under cover [:(]

Hi Tony,

Thanks [:)], the gent with Savage had owned it from new. The Bond Bug was mad, had a Suzuki Hyabusa engine in the back [:0], sequential shift with operational paddle shifts on the steering wheel

Great pictures again John.

Michelle has just said to me we won't be needing her anymore.

Love the Blue coupe, not seen that one before.

I must try and get along to this show next year.

definately great day out and really good to meet up with everyone and yes john the convoy was a brilliant view, as for getting back, boiled over again, and ended up pulling into services for a good hour to leave the car cool down again and needed another 2 litres of water again so def got a serious leak somewhere, then pulled back onto the m25 straight into a static queue of traffic so went the a road route....... lets say we did a few detours...lol got in about quarter to ten.........[:I]

got to try to sort out the car before end of june so can make it to billing?

great day, many thanks for the hospitality of the kent club, felt really at home with you all.

see you all soon hopefully........[:D][:D]

Hi Dave.

Great pictures [8D], missed the Merc, very nice and though i had got the Austin Healey but had'nt, like colour combination.

Ron, first time out this year for the DHC, would have rather had the FHC when sitting London traffic, hitting every light that was red ( 4.6's generate so much heat, although the exhaust wrap has helped [:)] ) thanks to Sally sat nav, why do these things try to take you home a different way !! [:(!]

The drought has returned today its pouring down pouring down out of the sky !! We were lucky with the weekends weather.

Cheers John

Thanks for the photos John, particularly the group one.

I had no idea I was communicating with such a bunch of desperados.

Great day out, nice to meet a few new faces. I enjoyed driving along in a long convoy of 7's & 8's (+ our honoury maestro). Glad we all had a nice dry day. [:D]

Great day, if a little grey but we were lucky it didn't pour down until on the way home. First time I have used the car in weather that bad and it did not leak a drip down the A21 at 70 and the wipers kept working - amazing. Good to meet the characters from the forum.
I trust you did not use your phone to take the mirror convoy picture Dave! Hope you manage to sort out the steaming - have you checked the stat?
