1975 TR7 Automatic - ACG44A

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Anyone here have a 1975 TR7? I'm trying to put together an article for the next TWOA and TR Drivers Club on that particular model (especially having owned one for 8 years). Contact me please: tencate at mac dot com

Thanks,

1975 Triumph TR7 Automatic - ACG44

Hi Jim

I don't think any of the 1975 cars stayed in UK. They were ACL serial numbered. UK earliest cars seem to start with the ACG which were supposedly 1976 through 78 model year cars.

I have ACL 512,built22 April 1975 but it was made into a race car in about 1980 by a BL dealer who took it in on a trade. I did get the BMHIT certificate for the car.

Lovely looking car 8) and I have to agree with the colour choice, but I might be biased.
