As I continue to ponder installing my windshield I noticed that I have quite a few small chips. Does the stuff they sell that fixes these chips work well? Is it worth my time?

Also, anyone every polish a windshield?

Hi Jim,
We repair windscreens at work with a special resin process, the chip may still remain visible after, this depends on if originaly it was a small chip or a bullet hole!!!,but does prevent any cracks spreading as the resin is forced into them.
Cheers John.

I had a small briuse repaired by windsheild shop using the resin/epoxy method, cost $35.00. Pretty much invisible. I have number of small "chips" made by small stones that look like just a small spots of dirt that the resin won't repair because they are too small but are not a big deal. I haven't tried the do it yourself stuff.
