Theres a 1974 factory prototype FHC in Leamington Spa with fuel injection. Its an "M" reg that left the factory as RHD but was originally built as a US spec LHD.

Daniel, the car is privately owned by an ex BL worker who bought it from the factory in the late 70s and has kept it ever since. See you on Friday, FTV will be on the stand.

As the only RHD TR7's with FI were meant for Japan or Australia, any UK FI's would be repatriated TR7's, LHD TR7's that were converted to RHD, RHD's that were converted from SU to FI or more interestingly cars that were pinched from the line by people who had enough weight in the company to say "We'll make this one a "press car" or this one's a "prototype" as they drove it off the lot.[:)]

Not the first time it's happened in the annals of British Motoring History. One of the perks of the job.
