engine idle speed to high at FI-engine

Hi all,
good news!
My TR7-Fi have passed the MOT after 7 years. :D
There was only a little issue at the emission test.
When the engine was on normal running temperature the
idle speed rises up to 1500-2000 rpm. I dropped the idle speed by
switch on the AC. I need to check the electric of the auxillary air regulator
to the intake manifold. I hope to find something. Otherwise it is another job
for the specialised Bosch-Workshop nearby. They have to refill the AC,
that i have repaired with new hoses, dryer, expansion valve and new sealings
for the heater and heater valve (Special Thanks to Jim Tencate for support :D )
It has never worked since i have the car.
The car now has refurbished seats (by myself), new carpet, steering bushes,
repaired exhaust, calipers, repaired indicator and door lamp and 1 new
headlamp lift bracket, light switch, new oilpump sealings, oil and filter and the right
distributor, new lamda sensor and heat coated exhaust manifold.
Last job on the to do list is to renew the rear window or the complete soft top.

Greetings

I have the same problem. It's been suggested that the distributor advance weight return springs are weak, not returning the weights back to their rest position. Apparently you can get heavier duty ones as well. I haven't gotten around to replacing them yet so don't know if they fix the problem. The weights are clean and free.
