What are the correct lengths for HT leads

I want to change mine, but the lengths i have don’t match up with the ones for sale.

I have a 2.0L 1980 with distributer on the bulkhead
If it's not broke don't fix it.

Am I correct in the assumption that you have an after market (as in non standard) electronic dizzy set-up (dizzy on the bulkhead)?
If so you'd be better of with a custom made lead set.

Have you tried Robsport?
The only difference is the length of the king lead as it is obviously very long for the later cars with the coil on the inner wing.

Anthony Fitchett (son of TD Fitchett) will make you up some leads to whatever length and terminals you ask. He will do OE spec or uprated whatever you want. He did me a couple of excellent sets for my Sprint engined TR7s.

He trades on Ebay as mr-retro-leads-plugs.

I got a set from Magnecor for my AC Delco electronic system (1980 Spider). Thy also have older versions as well. They are wire wound so they last forever, no resistance but have impedance for radio suppression. You can also choose type of rubber ends, regular or high temp. Expensive but they are the best.
