Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

Photo of the qtr panel & lower sill from inside the trunk/ boot

Postby Chubster » 14 Sep 2020 17:50

Hi, does anyone have a good picture of the seem between the rear qtr panel and the lower sill from inside the trunk/boot please. I am replacing both the qtr, the lower sill and also the internal closing panel so it would be good to get a view of the factory seem if possible. Thank you :D

Hi. When you fit the rear lower sill panels (inners & outers), do offer up the rear bumper before final welding. I didn't do this, having aligned them by eye. The rear bumper didn't fit one one side and now I have some rectification work to do...

Now you mention it. The aftermarket repair panel for the rear valance I have used so far was too long

Thank you guys, appreciate the picture. Have just received the full range of panels from Robsport to replace the right hand rear qtr and lower panels, just need to find the time now. :D :D
