New Servo Brake light on allthe time

Postby bonnietiler » 11 Dec 2016 18:05

Hi Guys just fitted the new servo...got to be honest don't much like the "feel" of the brakes now, a bit wooden..very light but manufactured at the Mahogany plant if you catch my drift ...But I removed the brake switch from my old servo (genuine TR7) and fitted it to the new (Rover Rimmers) jobbie as the wiring would be slightly different.However..my brake lights are now on permanently,I'm assuming that this is the problem?
Can anybody advise?
Cheers

If you did anything like I did when I fitted mine, you've probably bent the bracket that holds the light switch a little. All you need to do is bend it back slightly so that the switch is resting on the peddle.
