Plastic wood interior is it standard

I've seen a TR8 with a custom leather dash and it looked pretty good. I suspect the after market kit would too. The thought of a black leather dash with red stitching to fit in with the Spider theme would look good but as the car is original (except for seats) I think I'll keep it that way, besides would probably lose it's collector car status for cheap insurance. I look forward to the pictures (take some close ups).
