I have a 1979 TR7 convertible. It currently has a Lucas constant energy ignition in it wit a AB14 model 47623A amplifier. I do not have spark and from all the checking ive done it is either the distributor unit or the black box. No spec on it so cant tell what is not working or maybe both. I want to replace this with a Pertronix LU147A electronic ignition or simular ..That has been reccomended to me.. I have read the spec sheet from Pertronix and it says good for the 47DM4 with the foot note except 41812A.. guess what as my luck has it that is what i have. Does anybody have this distributor and if you changed the ignition what did you use or what system can i install.. Right now no spart no run.. Thank you in advance and any help will be appericated.
