Boot & Nose Badges

Hi all,
My 7 was resprayed before I bought it 6 years ago. I Would like to confirm that the correct badges were put on the car after the respray.
My car is a 1977 FHC (Chassis ACG 25755). The badges on the car are large Laurel on nose and, on the boot, Triumph on left side and TR7 on the right. Could anyone tell me if these are the correct badges for this chassis number.
Many thanks,
Pat

This left the factory on 07/08/1977 - a flamenco red FHC with a red check interior with sunroof.
Badges you stated are correct

I thought the laurel leaf bonnet decal didn't appear until production moved to Canley.

Hi Pat
This has been the cause of several emails back and fro between people 'in the know' - I have a TR7 FHC built around your build date with original paint and decals and it has the laurel despite being built at Speke. However, the consensus is that yours should in fact have the earlier decals (TR7 on front, combined TR7 and Triumph on one side rear).

The reason why quite a few late Speke cars have the later decals is down to the poor sales record at that time. Dealers had quite a few Speke cars in stock when the updated model from Canley was announced. To move the older stock, the later decals were applied by the supplying dealer.
Your car is a bit early for this to have happened so I presume a previous owner liked the newer look of the laurel.

Yep, get those earlier decals on the car. Best looking of the lot.
