I have a 1980 tr7. When I am facing the glovebox is the starter relay on the left or right side? which one is it? I have eliminated the red round ones with similar wiring diagrams as they control the lights. There is a round blue one but the diagram is different.

Thanks

Rich

The starter relay is normally the round blue one, although there are some different aftermarket ones. It is slightly different from the normal type. When I needed to replace mine I could not get one at the local motor factors and had to go to one of the Triumph specialists.

Are there two posts running on this?

Anyway, the starter relay has a large fat white and red wire. The actual relay can be any shape or colour.
